Hello. The song is "Colorado." The singer-songwriter is Danny Holien. The year it came out is 1971. See this is newsgroup message archived by Google Groups: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=5k2l1a%24lfi%242%40mark.ucdavis.edu The song was on Holien's self-titled album released in 1971. http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&uid=UIDMISS70312252333180171&sql=Arf9us37ya3mg The LP is available from two sellers listed on MusicStack.com: http://www.musicstack.com/tsearch/holien/danny_holien There is also a 45, but it's somewhat rare. Keep your eye on eBay. One sold there 3 days ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2581896429&category=20813 ------ search strategy: google groups: "colorado beautiful place" I hope this helps. | |
