My site does not come up or shows very poorly in Google searches for
"Cincinnati bed and breakfast". It was good inthe past, but poor
since I cancelled my adwords account. I don't understand. It should
get pretty good results. All other similar word combinations do.
What is wrong and how do I correct it for my site. The site is
http://www.wallacehousebb.com

Hi Bwoodruff53 ~

As I understand it, you want to be found under the search term
"Cincinnati bed and breakfast", is that correct?

You are listed, although you are currently in 301st place

But you also said you "cancelled your adwords account" - but I see
your ad in second place under the search term "Cincinnati bed and
breakfast".

You said all similar word combinations do - do what?

And which specific terms do you do well in?

The answers to these questions will help give a better explanation of
why you are possibly not rated so highly in the one term you are
specifically asking about.

Thanks,
Serenata

To clarify my problem: I cancelled "adwords" for a short while, and
because I started getting such poor results for "cinainnati bed and
breakfast", I re-instated my account. Therefore, you'll see the
"adwords" result with still very poor search results for "cincinnati
bed and breaffast".

Fpr tje term "cincinnati b&b" or "cincinnati bed", I get good search
results. For "cincinnati bed and breakfast", at one time I was as
high as #3, now you say I'm in the 300's. Why? How do improve this?

Hi BWoodruff53 ~

I can't really figure out why you are doing okay on some phrases such
as B&B and not so well for the "Cincinnati bed and breakfast", unless
it's the fact that you've got the phrase 11 times on your page (or
18.3% of your text, including Page Title and Metatags) and it ** might
** (emphasis on the word "might") be seen to be a big of spamming the
key word phrase "bed and breakfast" there.

You can run the page through Search Engine World's Keyword Density
Analyzer and will no doubt get the same results I did for the three
word phrase "bed and breakfast". 18% is a bit much, but I cannot state
with any kind of authority that this might be what keeps the full
phrase from ranking well, especially when your search engine results
placement is good for other phrases, including "Cincinnati B&B".

The only ones who can answer the question with any certainty are
Google, and I don't think they will address individual queries about
why you're not on the first page of results.

Perhaps some other researcher can spot some glaring error which I
didn't catch; but quite frankly, any errors or omissions which might
"help" aren't hurting you in other search terms by their omission -
and it does lead one to consider the old cliche' "If it ain't broke,
don't fix it".

Good luck,
Serenata
