Jack,
I met a man named Sean MacCarron from the UK who has an invention that
has been patented in NZ and AU as well as the UK I believe. His
invention is a machine that provides for a proper fit of snowboard,
bindings and boots based on bio mechanics principals that often escape
this sport created for no worries dudes.

He is a a very high level snow boarder and skiier and in 2002 was
rated one of the top 100 skiers in the US according to Skier Magazine.

I need help in determining what his patent work is and how to help him
proceed with the marketing of his invention.

What can you learn???

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

I am still looking into this for you.

I have searched for this invention on 'The UK Patent Office' and the
'IP Australia' patent and design databases, but so far i've come up
empty handed. I did come across several designs to do with snowboard
bindings, but the name 'Maccarron', or 'Mccarron' (which I believe is
the correct spelling), has not come up anywhere.

Are you sure that Sean is the inventor? Can you give me any more clues?

I have some more ideas up my sleeve, but it may take a little more
time, as I may need to make some enquiries. If I manage to make
contact with the inventor, is it okay if I mention you and your
interest in marketing the invention?

Jack,
I don't think the inventor will want any contact. I am trying to get
info to hand him off to another contact. The correct spelling of his
name is MacCarron.
I hope that helps a little and good luck.
Mike

"Happy New Year!", Mike! :)

Thanks for that.

The only sure thing I've found out so far, is that he's an instructor
at a resort in Colorado. Would you like me to pursue this search and
try and get contact details?

If not, I can focus my search more on the patent work, but as I said I
haven't come up with anything substantial (yet). I also tried a search
on the US Patent & Trademark database, but his name didn't come up
there either!
