Thanks for the suggestion, I ordered the book.

To answer the other question, I am just a woman who loves a man who needs help.

A person who engages in passive aggression *can* change their
behavior; however, as with most things psychological, such behavior
changes **only** come when the person in question becomes motivated to
change their own behavior.

However, there are a number of ways to respond to passive-aggressive
behavior that can turn the tables and deny the practitioner the
satisfaction or "payoff" that they are seeking by such manipulative
behavior -- thus making the behavior a "losing strategy" for them, and
therefore less desirable for them to practice.

The book czh suggested should be a big help with this. Here are a
couple of online resources you may find useful:

Thanks so much for this comment it was very helpful. Why do people
become like this, is it all from their upbringing and parents or what
do you think? If you want to answer another question.

Thanks debjenmad
