hi how do i clear the search history in the google tool bar drop down
menue i have tried clearing my temp files and and my history to no
avail

Hello Ricaldrich,
I have Google Toolbar version 2 on my Internet Explorer. Click on the
"Google" title button, the drop-down menu will show 'Clear Search
History', and clicking on that will do the trick. I recall it's the
same if you're using an old version of the toolbar. Clearing temp
files will not clear the history because the Toolbar search history is
not part of the temporary internet files.

I used personal knowledge as my 'search strategy'.

Great answer great service I'll use it again. and my question was
answered in under 24 hours

Go into the options, uncheck "drop-down search history", click apply,
click ok.  Click on options again, then check "drop-down search
history", clcik apply, ok.  The history will be cleared
