Doh! I accidentally obliterated the install joseleon did (see
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=266107 ). Looking for
an install and configuration of movabletype on my Unix server (it has
Perl and MySQL). Same install as before, except I'd prefer the
publishing directory to be called "publish" instead of "blogs".

Please backup my MySQL database (which contains othber important info)
before installing.

I would upload my confidential server login details to you (no contact info).

no takers. I'd love some feedback on those of you considering taking
this -- why are researchers hesitant to take this on?...

Hi jhabley-ga,

I think most researchers have kept away from this question for a
couple main reasons:

1. Another researcher has already assisted you with this (joseleon)
2. You propose providing information outside of the GA forumin the
original thread, which is typically against GA policy (however
sensible in this case)

Hopefully others will see this and perhaps be able to help out.
Although I'd be happy with joseleon-ga to do this (he did a great job
the first time), it's open to anyone.  S/he allowed me to upload just
the server details (but not any of my contact info) to do this. I'm
open to any other way of getting the server details (password,
specifically) to a researcher who takes this, provided I don't have to
post it, of course! ;-)
