There's German novel that I would like to read ...
It's a mixture between Pippin (without the song and dance); and H G
Wells (without Rebecca West).
If someone were to make the text available on-line, would the G****e
Translation Machine make it intelligible to ANY human being? |

Well, I can't say anything about the quality of an automatic Gogole
translation in this particular case - but I could try to find a text
file of the complete novel for available for download. I have a
feeling that it might be out there on the Internet somewhere.

Hi, Scriptor
Vielen dankeshoenen fur your RQC.
I really don't have a lot of confidence in the GT but thanks for the
thought anyway.
If mein Germanium war goed genoeg, I'd buy a copy like a shot!
(Please forgive the flowery language.)

Dear probonopublico,
It was not easy, but I have finally been able to convince the author.
He will make the German manuscript of the novel available for you to
download. But he prefers to stay anonymous for various reasons. Also,
it is not possible to contact the author in person or to publish a
download link here.
Please contact his agent to receive information on where to download the text:
georg_flausch@gmx.de
After you have successfully downloaded the manuscript, let me know and
I will post this as an answer. As you see, Google Answers Researchers
do spare no effort for the satisfaction of our customers.
Best regards,

Hi, Scriptor
I've now found a suitable German novel, so that I can put the GT to work.
Many thanks for your suggestion.
Please post an answer NOW before 2004 arrives!
Kindest regards
