I am having few Sanyo Rice cookers, which are very new but in non-working condition. I lost the receipts so, could not return this items. I am finding a way to fix this some manual or repair suggestions, which would help me fix them. I think the breakdown is because of voltage fluctuation and power flicks. I need the manual to repair Sanyo Rice coocker EC-505 and EC-232. |

Hey ponnas-ga, Sanyo has a customer service number you can call for parts: 1-800-726-9662. The "tree" of options includes "stay on the line" (the only one that seemed to fit). I got a young lady that told me more than once that she didn't have schematics for the models you're interested in. But I was politely persistent and she eventually was able to locate a repair manual for the EC-232 that could be either faxed or mailed to you. Her suggestion in regard to the EC-505 was that this may be a model sold only outside the US (e.g., Japan or Canada). Here's the url for a document containing contact info for Sanyo/Canada: http://www.sanyocanada.com/contact.html That model is indeed sold in the Great North Woods: http://www.sanyocanada.com/consumer/appliances/rice_99.cfm Hope this can help get you cookin' soon! mmi-ga | |
