Is there a chemical or treatment I can apply to a rose that will get it to wilt within 1 or 2 minutes? I would like to have the rose look alive and then within a minute or two it's wilted. Thank you. |

Hi johngl, I couldn't find a verifiable answer, but I wonder...if you took the thin red "straw" on a can of compressed air, inserted it into the stem, and shot a few puffs into the stem...Don't know, but this site gave me the idea: http://gci.gospelcom.net/dw/1999/04/29/ crabcakes-ga |

Ammonia fumes will wilt a rose, as I learned to my dismay at my wedding reception when ammonia was used to clean a countertop near my roses. |

Hi johngl, Put some very hot water in a vase. Put long stemmed rose in vase. That will also work. Best regards, tlspiegel |
