First, are they a bona-fide business organisation? The main company,
Parador Properties Limited, is registered with the UK Companies House
as a Limited Liability Company. They were incorporated in 1998 and
their accounts and returns are filed up to date. To find financial
information on the company you need to either pay Companies House for
copies of their accounts (£50 registration and then additional charges
for the documents) or pay for a credit report from a company such as
Dun & Bradstreet.

These are the details from the UK Companies House. Please note that
the Registered Office is often different from the trading address and
is used for the service of official documents.

According to the subject company?s web site their address is:

"ENGLAND

They have several companies abroad one of which is Parador Properties
Cyprus Ltd. This is a Cypriot registered company. I have tried to
check the company name but the web site is not working. I did not wish
to delay posting the answer, so here is the link if you wish to try it
yourself. I anticipate that it will only confirm the name of the
company in the register. I do not believe the site offers any
financial information on the company.

From my searches, it would appear the Cypriot operation has not been
operating long, but they have been active in the Spanish market for
several years. As a consequence much of the below information relates
to Spain, but nevertheless it will be of interest to you.

I could find no reference to "miss-selling properties abroad or
defrauding buyers" from Law enforcement, Legal Authorities, etc.

I do however, draw you attention to the following postings on message
boards and amateur web sites -

and the ?Ventacentre?. They are rip off merchants. They show you a lot
of rubbish properties to dishearten you, and then they show you
something they know that you will like and you want to buy it."

Do a Google search on the phrase "Parador Properties" and you will see
a number of websites that give a favorable view of this company. It's
difficult to know what their reputation is in Spain since you would
have to contact a Better Business Bureau type agency there to get more
information, but you may also want to consider getting a financial
background report/corporate credit bureau report on them from an
agency such as Dun & Bradstreet International or some other similar
company.
