How do I make a self extracting "EXE" for a MacIntosh OS from a Windows PC. I need the file to maintain file directories if possible (like WinZip). | |

What is it you want to do, exactly? With this file? And even more important, which OS? More things possible with OS X. |

Are you thinking of making a file self-extracting within a Terminal shell (i.e. Darwin), as opposed to a Carbon app? Hmm... that might be different. Resource forks are OS 9-ish... |

Sorry for the delay. (Holidays). I would like to make the equivalent of a self extracting "ZIP" file for the MAC (downloaded from the web). I would like to support as many versions as possible. There are many files and direectories in the current ZIP files. I want to create the Mac file on a Windows PC if possible (any version). Does this clarify the question? |
