What is the name of the theme tune used in the introductory credits to
the new UK Television show "Magician Impossible" which stars the
magician Joe Labero?

The show is new and was only aired for the first time in December
2003. The name of the production company that produces the show is
"Carlton" (www2.carlton.com) and the broadcaster is ITV (www.itv.com).
The theme tune which I would like to know the name of is played during
the introductory and ending credits of the show. The tune is similar
in genre to the one used as the theme tune to the movie "Mission
Impossible". I have heard the theme tune before in other places so I
do not think that it is proprietary to the "Magicican Impossible"
television show. It may have been taken from a "*Mission* Impossible"
movie, but I am unsure.

I have already tried to find the name of this theme tune myself but
there is very little information about the show "Magician Impossible"
available.

Hi there,

Great! Thanks! That's the one!

Please could you go ahead and provide the name. Also, I'd be
interested to know how you knew and where this song is originally
from?

Many thanks :-)

The song you're looking for is entitled "Chateau," by Rob Dougan. It
was written for the soundtrack of "The Matrix Reloaded" (which may be
where you heard it previously).

Although I have not seen "Magician Impossible," I identified the music
from this post on a Rob Dougan site:

"Robs 'Chateau' track (which featured in The Matrix Reloaded) was used
on ITV1s 'Magician Impossible' last night."

I'm glad to have been able to help you identify your music! If
something is unclear, or if there's anything else I can do for you,
please request clarification; I'll be glad to offer further assistance
before you rate my answer.

Hi Pinkfreud,

That's just great thanks. I did search for "Magician Impossible" but
wasn't sharp enough to pick out the relevant Google description under
the "robdougan.net" link! Thanks also for additional info and links:
I'll check out his other work. :-)

Best wishes,
Beatfish

Thanks for the five-star rating! If you like "Chateau," you'll
probably enjoy Rob's CD "Furious Angels." Here's a review:
