Hi

I have a load of WMA files on my comp created by recording CDs using
media player. I recently bought an MP3 compatible stereo for my car,
thinking it would play the WMAs as MP3s-it doesn't!
Can anyone recommend a program (free, very preferably) to convert my
WMA files to MP3s? I've already tried one or two from downloads.com
but they don't seem to like converting FROM WMA.

Any help gratefully received.

Have you tried dBpowerAMP? It's a very nice free program that will
convert from WMA to MP3:

One excellent thing about dBpowerAMP is that you can get lots of
support from an online forum:

Pinkfreud-you are a genius and a very clever man too! Tried the last
one you suggested and it works like a dream. Please feel free to post
it as an answer.

All the best,

Markyboy
