Have you tried calling information? Many states now offer reverse lookups.

Hello--

I have carefully researched your question and have your answer.

First, you may wish to simply dial information. If you dial the area
code you have for the person, plus the numbers 555-1212, you may ask
them to conduct a reverse search.

If you'd prefer to conduct a reverse address search online, you may also do that.

I conducted a Google search for the following terms: reverse phone search
You may view my results online. The link is

I hope this helps. If you need further information or clarification,
please don't hesitate to click on the "clarify" button.

If it's a USA number you could just try typing it into the Google search by itself.

Have you tried http://www.reversephonedirectory.com/ ? It is free and
I have found it to be efficient about 85% of the time. There are
three spaces to enter the phone number, if the first one doesn't work
try the other two. This will not work for cell or unlisted numbers,
but there are links from the search page to paid services that will
trace those.
