okay I got some USB Devices (Joysticks to be more percice) and what I want to do is be able to play some games in my living room. my desktop computer however is a few rooms away. now I managed to pipe in the output from the video & sound Cards to the living room tv, and I got a laptop connected wirelessly to my desktop comptuer. Bouth Compys are running XP (home) and I was wondering if there was some way I could set things up so that usb devices on the laptop can be treated as if they where on my desktop. I don't mind if I have to buy extra stuff to do this and then can't access the device on the laptop wile it's beeing "ported." I just need to know if it's posible and if so what I need to get to do this. |

It is possible and you will need to create a Virtual Remote Port This can be done in several ways but I am not authorised to respond as an Answerer hence it would take too long to commment on. Try and this link and work from there http://www.vmware.com/community/thread.jspa?messageID=2738 cheers |
