Dear dingdong22-ga,
There have been numerous articles and television programmes on this
particular 'urban myth'. Are you seeking the specific article from the
magazine? If so, can you remember the name of the magazine?
If not, I can refer you to some sites where the claims, and the
evidence, for and against, are examined in great detail.

dingdong22,

At first I thought this was pretty straight forward. Then, I
encountered the same dilema as did answerfinder. Indeed, there are
many articles (and books and television shows) that were formally
rebuttaled in some fashion. The reason we need to know which article
you are referring to is that as the conspiracy theory grew, the
details changed, evolved.

If you would be happy with a general answer that addresses most of the
claims with the rebuttals, then please let us know.

Thanks,
~~Cynthia

Just for your information, this is one of the stuff that has been
branded as 'Conspiracy Theory'. Things like Freemasonry/Illuminati
controls the world, aliens are actually hiding at Area 51, Kennedy was
not shot by Oswald, Elvis is still alive (chuckles), Earth is actually
hollow and is inhabited... well, the list goes on and on, proof of the
truth of these theories has never been found. I looked around and saw
many websites about this fake moon landing theory. Some at least
expound on inconsistencies found in pictures, for example, that prove
they are fake. Just look around the net and you'll find them.

By the way, there are a lot of sites also debunking the fake moon
landing theory. They'll provide a lot of education in science as well
as some entertainment. :)

Can someone tell me the following:

why on the moon landing video, is the US flag "blowing" around as if
there were wind on the surface?

At the time on the landing - and for 6 months before and after, there
is no record of storms or environmental activities that may have
caused this?

Could it be due to the fact that it was filmed at the Space Centre in FL??

tuneman,

As soon as dingdong22 gets back to us and clarifies his/her question,
there will be an answer. The flag waving is a common question that is
raised and has been completely, and simply, explained. Keep checking
back.

Tuneman,
You're a believer, I presume! :) I might change that though... One of
the sites I saw about the supposed faked moon landing is this:

Who Mourns For Apollo? by Mike Bara, page 2
http://www.lunaranomalies.com/fake-moon2.htm
- The flag was waving because the astronaut was twisting and turning
the pole to get it into the lunar soil, and that made the flag look as
if it was waving in a wind.

Techtor,

Thanks for the link: it appears I may have been hasty in my earlier
suggestionas, however I still believe there is something suspicious
about the whole apollo moon missions.....I shall investigate further
:-)

Cheers,
