I would like to know the process by which petrochemical resins are
extracted, the components of a resin, the largest manufacturers of the
same and the largest industry that uses them the most both in terms of
product and country.

I am fairly sure that resins are not directly extracted from oil and
gas, but are made from materials extracted from them.
