Dear foresight469-ga
I notice that you have asked a similar question recently.
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=292875

Once again, I believe that this bank does not exist. They do have a
web site, but I consider it to be bogus.

The only reference I can find to the bank on three search engines is a
message board posting which is stored in the Google cache. The bank is
mentioned in an extract from a classic Nigerian Fraud letter, or ?419
letter? as it is more generally known. The money does not exist and it
is the initial approach in a scam to steal money from you.

The bank?s web site is
www.pctbonline.com/
I have not typed it in full as a link as I do not wish Google to index
it further. This is for the protection of later potential victims.

Contact details from the site:
Prudent Chartered Trust Bank,
Plot 2A Ademola Adetokunbo Street
Victoria Island
Lagos Nigeria.
Lagos Nigeria
Tel: +234-805-5222240
+234-803-3218446
Fax: +234-1-7591780

Look at the ?About Us? page and you will clearly see that the picture
of the bank has been altered and the name of the bogus bank added
using Photshop or similar graphics package.

www.pctbonline.com/aboutus.htm

A search of the domain name owner gives a different address:
Registrant:
PRUDENT CHARTERED TRUST BANK
No 1 PCTB Street
Victoria Island
Lagos, Lagos Ng
NG

Domain name: PCTBONLINE.COM

Administrative Contact:
Badmus, Dr. Tunde info@pctbonline.com
No 1 PCTB Street
Victoria Island
Lagos, Lagos Ng
NG
234-8023333300

http://www.whois.sc/pctbonline.com

This is part of the message board posting:
"The banker to my client (Prudent Chartered Trust Bank) has issued me,
being the executor of his Estate, a notice to provide the next of kin
or have the deposit OF HIS FUNDS OF USD22.5M,[TWENTY TWO MILLION FIVE
HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS]"

I have checked the web site of the West African Bankers' Association
which is an association of which all the genuine and reputable
Nigerian Banks would belong and the bank?s name does not appear on the
list.
http://www.wabao.org/waba/bank_nigeria.html

This, and the lack of any other search engine listing, leaves me in no
doubt that the bank does not exist.
