Where can I find information on a range of reproduction apothecary
jars that were issued around the late '70's or early '80's. They were
issued by the National Pharmaceutical Union (now defunct) to their
pharmacist members. These ceramics were manufactured by Herr. The
bases of these jars carry a logo that looks like a hill surmounted by
a cross and there are two wavy lines at the base of the hill - the
whole picture is included in a circle - straddling the top of the hill
are the initials A H. Some of the names on the jars are Amyl Tritic,
Manna and Aloe.
