We are looking for an extensive representation of logos or trademarks
that incorporate a speech bubble in their design. We need to be able
to easily view all the logos compiled in one place. We would need the
names of the companies that are using them.

I am starting a search but cannot guarantee how many logos or
trademarks I can find. Can you give me a general idea how many you are
expecting? There will be no easy way to find them other than a general
search.

Our main goal is to determine wether or not the speech bubble is
available for logo use. We are trying to find out if the shape has
been trademarked in any form, and if so, what those forms are. We are
interested in seeing variations in existing uses that may not be
trademarked.

The first logical step in this process is to see what is out there.
There isn't a specific number of logos that we are looking for, we
simply need an accurate representation of what's out there.

I guess this is very subjective, so some of it is up to your
judgement. If you are confident that your seach was through, given the
available tools, we'll probably be happy.

Hello, monovich-ga!

I have searched to the point that I am now tripping over web pages!!

Unfortunately, there is no easy method to search for "speech bubble"
logos. My research strategy makes that quite evident! Even extensive
browsing through logo design websites was relatively unfruitful.
However, I have turned up some interesting logos which incorporate
speech bubbles in their design.

Although some designs might be subject to my interpretation, I felt
that the presence of punctuation made some logos look very much like
speech bubbles. Let's hope that my eyes and my judgment have not been
adversely affected by looking at logos for so many hours!

I have no doubt that as soon as I post my answer, I will start seeing
other logos in magazines or on websites that incorporate a speech
bubble. If so, I will surely post a clarification.

I hope these links, few as they are, prove helpful to you. Let me
know if I can clarify anything further.

I also want to invite others to post links to any relevant logos in
the comments section! This type of question is certainly intriguing
and just begs for input from people in every country who see logos
that cannot be easily found in a traditional search.

Sincerely,

umiat

The link for Odigo obviously does not work, either!

Please try http://www.odigo.org/ (Again, this is interpretive)

Pretty good spread of results. Defnintely a helpful service. The only
thing that could have made it better would be a slightly broader
search with a a few more results.

Saw this thread and thought I should add one in that I know about.
It's a bit on the interpretive side but I suppose it fits the theme.
It's the logo for a fairly large phone company on the west coast and
mid-west:

http://www.qwest.com

I work for them as an operator and after reading this question I
realized it somewhat looks like a speech bubble. I stared at it during
my lunch break for no reason. :)
