I would like to see the "Prime Ministers Questions" live in England this year...hopefully sometime this summer. Is there a resource where I can learn more about the schedule and/or how to attend this event live? |

Hello. "Prime Minister's Question Time" is held every Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 12:30 pm when Parliament is in session. Sources: "The Prime Minister now answers questions at the new time of 12 noon for half an hour every Wednesday when Parliament is sitting." source: Parliament http://www.parliament.uk/works/occasion.cfm#pmques Note that Parliament is in summer recess from 22 July 2004 to 7 September 2004, so you may want to plan to visit before then. Also, note that you should try to obtain a "card of introduction." Also, note that admission to "question time" is not guaranteed. "Please note that such cards do not guarantee entry at 14.30 or 11.30. Quite often, it will not be possible to admit their bearers until after Question Time ? that is, after 15.30 or 12.30." More information at: "Visits to the Gallery of the House of Commons" http://www.parliament.uk/directories/hcio/gallery.cfm -------- search strategy: parliament, "question time" I hope this helps. |

It might also be worth noting that it's not always the Prime Minister who answers "Prime Minister's Questions". If Tony Blair is abroad for example either the Deputy Prime Minister or the Leader of the House will answer so if you particularly want to see The Prime Minister in action it may be worth checking his schedule. |
