My Question: What does the current Insignia of Rank look like for the
Andorran Police Forces?
Details: Insignia of Rank are things that indicate what a person's
rank is. With Insignia of Rank, you can tell at a glance whether a
person is (for example), a Private or a Sergeant or Lieutenant, etc.
Insignia of Rank comes in many forms and colors, such as:
chevrons,bars,stars,wreathes,etc.
What I would like for my answer: I would like the information that I want, to be
in the forms of either illustrations (1 picture's worth a thousand
words) or detailed descriptions, the descriptions being something like
this: (1) Private, No Insignia, (2) Sergeant, 3 gold chevrons,
point-up, worn on mid-sleeve, both arms, (3) Lieutenant, 1 gold bar,
worn on the shoulder or lapel, (4)Captain, 3 five-pointed gold stars,
worn on the shoulder or lapel......etc.,etc.
I've tried writing to the Andorran Police on their web site, and they
indicated that they had the information I wanted and they'd send it to
me, but someone there must have dropped the ball or something. (At
least I know it's not a wild goose chase.)
Location: Andorra is a small, yet beautiful country set in the
Pyrenees Mountains between France and Spain.
Andorra has their own police forces (staffed by Andorran citizens),
but France and Spain share in their military defence.
I want to let people know about Andorra's Police forces because so
often they are never mentioned, and they're the closest thing that
Andorra has to a defence force staffed by Andorrans, to protect their
own country!

Hello Kitemaker,

I actually have high quality pictures of all Insignia of Rank of the
Andorran police forces. I also have the badges that identify each unit
as, for example, the explosives team, the mountain team or the
scientific research team, just to name a few. I have pictures of the
insignia of rank for each of the groups, if they have any.

All pictures are high quality.

Now I have a problem: I can't post the pictures on google answers. I
offer you two solutions. I could upload the pictures to a free webpage
service (like geocities) and give you a link to the webpage so you
could check out the pictures and download them, or I could send you
the pictures by email.

Waiting for your answer,

Eduard F.

Hi Eduard!
Kitemaker here!!

I was so excited when I saw your comments, I couldn't believe my eyes!
In fact, I couldn't get back to you fast enough!
If this is the information that I'm looking for, I think we can do
business. Did consulting the rank insignia website help you at all?
You can go to either the geocities route, or the e-mail route,
whichever is less hassle for you.
I've been looking for this information for so long Eduard, so many
times I thought I was so close, only to find out it was another red
herring.
Looking forward very much to hearing from you! See ya'!
