I would like a list of all the U.S. Presidents from George Washington
(a Rat) onward to GWB (a Dog) according the respective Chinese
Astrology sign. There are
http://www.astrohoroscopes.com/chinese/index.html Twelve Chinese
Astrology signs which is based on the Chinese year of birth which is
based on a Moon calander so the start of each new year changes from
year to year, usually sometime in January and February. The list could
allready be made, or if you want to make one, you would need to know
each Presidents birthday (month/day/year) and a Moon
Calander to match up the sign. I am looking for an imbalance showing
greater numbers of Presidents with certain signs than others. Any Q
please ask thank you for considering this question.

The calender runs in 12 year cycles so knowing what years the current
signs are it is possible to extrapolate backwards using simple math.
For example knowing that 1970 is a Dog (per the link I provided), one
should be able to figure out easily what year 1780 was (knowing the
order of the 12 signs). However, since the new year starts on a
diffrent day each year according to the moon cycle, in the months of
January and February, any President born in those months, you would
need to consult an actual moon calander for that specific date.

Hello stbalbach,

The following list includes all of the Presidents by Western and
Chinese astrological signs. On Internet Explorer, you can use [Edit >
Find (on this Page)] to look for each President by last name.

The list appears to be accurate as to the Chinese signs. (Note: I did
not find a more concise list with just the Presidents.) You can check
the list against the birth dates of the Presidents and against Chinese
astrological calendars. (As you probably know, the Chinese signs for
the years may differ depending on which calendar you use: for example:
"Cat", "Hare", and "Rabbit" are the same sign. Also, persons born at
the beginning of a Western year might fall into the previous year's
sign. The second of the calendars I cite below mentions these
issues.)

Search strategy on Google:

Searched for random names of presidents in conjunction with random
Chinese astrological signs (e.g., washington taft mckinley hoover
horse monkey dog)

Searched for random years conjunction with random Chinese astrological
signs (e.g., rat ox tiger 1800 1987 1777).

Searched for the terms:
presidents "22 1732" hoover [in order to find Washington's birthdate
on the same page as that of another President (Hoover)]

Thank You. From the resources you linked to I was able to create the
list below. 12 signs by 46 presidents is an average of 3.5 per sign
which is almost exactly how it is, thus I can conclude Chinese
Astrology is not a good way to determain who is more likely to be
President in the future. There are some interesting patterns but
nothing to write home about.
