Looking for a boardgame from the 1980's called Plumbcrazy. I'm not
sure if that is the exact name but I am almost positive. I do not
know the maker of it but the game consisted of up to 4 players taking
turns building a section of pipes from their game piece such as a sink
or bathtub to a water tower in the center of the board. But the other
players could turn your pipes around backwards in order to keep you
from reaching the tower first.

The best I could do was to round up two POTENTIAL sources for the
hard-to-find board game. One of them possibly has it on hand and the
other is a waiting list for when it comes available for sale by a
private owner. Of the latter, you can choose your position on the
waiting list by how much you are willing to offer the seller. Will you
accept these as an answer?

This game can be played by up to 4 players. There are different color
pieces of pipes in assorted lengths and shapes such as straight pieces
and curved pieces which help you to try and get back to the water
tower once one of the other players has turned your pipes around with
one of his.

Again, I am well aware of the game itself and as I said, I have
located two potential sources. One of them possibly has it on hand and
the other is a waiting list for when it comes available for sale by a
private owner. Of the latter, you can choose your position on the
waiting list by how much you are willing to offer the seller. Will you
accept these as an answer?

Dear goldenboy-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting question.

The board game you are referring to was published in 1978 by Marx
Toys, and it was indeed called ?Plumb Crazy?.

You can pre-order a game for when it comes available for sale by a
private owner here:

BOARD GAME GEEK ? PLUMB CRAZY
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/8074

?A very interesting race game where you try and connect a sink, bath
tub, old-time washing machine, or fire hydrant to the water tower
supply before all the rest. You get pieces to connect your piece up.
First one to do so wins!?

A complete Plumb Crazy board game set is being sold at
IDiscountToys.com for $4 (presumably the price at the moment) but at
the time of this posting their say that they are undergoing some
construction so I cannot get in today in order to find out more. You
might try contacting them directly through their contact link on the
web page here:

You have found in 2 days what me and a bunch of other people have not
been able to find in years. This is a game I played a-lot with my
cousins when I was growing up. My mom liked playing with us a lot to.
We always had a great time and each of us this many years later still
remember playing that game. Thanks again!

If that is the game then this person was selling it on Ebay. I
checked Ebay and it is not there now. Maybe this person still has
one.
