How can I contact former/retired senior Agents from the FBI, CIA, and
MI5/MI6. I am a researcher for a successful author who has, in the
past, managed to secure senior military personnel to critique his book
and have their 'quotable quote' on the front cover of the book. His
last comment was from the current chief of defense. We are now about
to publish a world-class novel which is an action thriller, and we
already have an in-principle agreement from a different former Admiral
and chief of defense. We now would like to be able to contact retired
operatives and ask them if they could read the manuscript and pass a
comment, much like we see former agents commenting on television
documentaries. Except here they are commenting about the book, and
their comments may be used on the cover of the book. So I would
appreciate it if you could let me know if there is a database of
former agents, or if there is a media spokesperson's list. I need a
concrete way to be able to contact the agents, so a valid/current
e-mail would be preferred, following by post. However, post is a slow
process. Thank you. |

Have a look at this site:
http://www.nsaspeaker.org/
and do a search on FBI.
You'll get about seven hits, including several former agents. A
similar search on CIA also produces some results, though not quite as
fruitful.
There are other sites like nsaspeaker.org, but there's no guarantee
they'll contain specific listings for the type of contacts you're
seeking.
Would you like me to list five or six of them as an answer to your question?

You can also conduct a Google search like this one:
://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=consultant+%28%22former+agent%22+OR+%22former+*+agent%22%29+%28fbi+OR+cia+OR+m15%29+-charged+-arrested
to uncover a fair number of links to former agents active in
consulting and speaking.

Hello there, bookresearcher,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Since this is your first time here at Google Answers, I just want to
clarify a thing or two.
When a researcher feels he or she is ready to answer your question,
they will post it in the "Answer" space, and -- at that point -- you
will be charged the fee that you offered to have your question
answered.
I merely posted a request for you to clarify what type of information
you are seeking, so you have not been charged, and your question is
still "open". Researchers will continue to look over your question
and will post an answer if they feel they have the information you
need.
Hope this is all clear, and best of luck finding the quotable quote
that you're after.
