Can anyone identify an early 80s (or possibly even late 70s) group
which sounded vaguely Japanese. The lyrics from one of their songs
include the words 'Dust is singing, dust is dancing, dust is dusting
over my eyes'?

Some further lyrics from the same song :

'Days of long needles
 Nights of sharp heat
 Wild ... (some words I can't hear)
 drugs under the feet

 dust is singing
 dust is dancing
 dust is dusting
 over my eyes
 dust is breathing
 dust is dreaming
 .... (some words I can't hear)

Hi ldab,

This was certainly a fun question to look into. As you've undoubtedly
done, I've double-checked the veracity of the Usenet suggestion
"Cities in Dust" by Siouxsie and the Banshees and it doesn't look
quite right. Good luck in your search, and I hope a researcher who
remembers the song can help you out!
