I remember seeing a movie (about 1990) in which a fat slob with greasy
sideburns is told "Have you ever been told you look like Elvis?" which
he takes as a compliment. What was the movie?

Someone suggested it might be "Nadine" starring Jeff Bridges.  Any confirmation ?
