i'm looking for code examples on developing an ofx
client/component/class using xml web services or microsoft .net. I
already have all the specifications for ofx transactions format. i'm
looking for code examples sending ofx requests and receiving ofx
responses using the above technologies. i'll accept asp examples too.

thank you very much for the response. the links are quite helpful and
informational as to the "care and feeding" of ofx specifications. i
have already been to ofx.net and downloaded/printed 500 pages of
specs. actually this site was my first stop in getting the specs.
microsoft's site refers mostly to troubleshooting money with ofx
transactions. corrillian is my client's solution provider, most of the
people in the team are QA people and i have already asked them; they
are more into java dev.

thanks again

Ok, I felt those links were not exactly what you need. Did you post
your question in the gnucash mailing list? The questions there sound
very code oriented.

thanks for the info, the gnucash is a linux based check register
application. although i'm a windows user, i did peruse the user
documentation and attempted to view the source. i was not able to find
any reference to OFX or file importing code.

as to your latest response, the thread links are for experts in the
industry. i'm just really looking for a code snippet for an OFX
Client. and I think i'm close to finding the answer using the .NET
architecture. the namespaces that i'm referring to is the
HTTPApplication, HTTPRequest, HTTPResponse. I'm currently creating a
code prototype and will test next week at my client's environment. If
this is proven to work, i'll cancel my question request.

i do thank you for responding to my question.
