Hi Scarty!

Would you be interested in purchasing Seeburg SMC1 service manuals?

These manuals are high quality reprints of original documentation
published by the jukebox manufacturers to help troubleshoot and repair
each model. All include setup instructions, parts lists and diagrams,
schematics, and use and care instructions.

Hi Tom!

I wrote to Tony Miller, a Seeburg jukebox expert, asking how to
reprogram your SMC1 jukebox for continuous play.

From Tony Miller's Seeburg Web Site:

?I was formerly employed by Seeburg, first in their Quality Assurance
Department while working on my BSEE, then in the Engineering
Department. While working in QA, I repaired several hundred black and
gray box field returns, and came to know them quite well. The first
product designed by me which actually made it to production was the
5BS1 Light Sequencer for the STD2, STD3, and STD4 jukeboxes.?

Tony kindly replied to my email and said that it?s possible to put the
machine into continuous free play, where each record is played in
succession.

To do this:

a. Place the Service switch into the Service position, and leave it there.
b. While holding the Credit switch in the on position, push ?00' on
the selector keypad.
c. Release the Credit switch, leaving the Service switch in the Service position.

To get back to normal mode, return the Service switch to the Normal position.

It is also possible to put the machine into continuous free credit
mode, giving unlimited free credits.

To do this:

a. Place the Service Switch into the Service position, and leave it there.
b. While holding the Credit switch in the on position, push ?99' on
the selector keypad.
c. Release the Credit switch, leaving the Service switch in the Service position.

As before, to get back into Normal mode, return the Service switch to
the Normal position.
