Where are the memory slots on an Advent 6470 lap top, and if under the keyboard, how does the keyboard remove? |

Check out www.crucial.com. They have great info about how to upgrade memory and whatnot. |

Maybe it is the same as the 6480: "I've got an Advent 6480 laptop and have just installed 256M. The memory slot is under the keyboard. You need to remove the panel just above the keyboard. There is a catch on the right hand side. i have a ADVENT 6480 LAPTOP but i'm looking to upgrade it to 512ram as its dead slow i end up with about 16mb sometiems. Can you tell me where i could get this and what type of ram i need to buy as i'm new to this. Different sources tell me differnet things and i need to know in plain english, i'm from UK Also my left speaker no longer works is there anyway of fixing this myself as i dont have alot of money to spend upgrading this thing! HELP |
