What servers  (intel, amd based, or other) are made by Quanta
Computer (corporation located in taiwan) and are sold in the united
states?  These servers can be sold under their name or other brands. 
What proof do you have?

I've looked, but cannot find product information on the specific
servers made by Quanta.  Perhaps another researcher will have more
success in this regard.

I have found a number of articles, mostly from the Taiwanese trade
press, that provide some details on Quanta's traditional small
presence in the overall server market, and their rapid growth as a
major provider of servers in just the past year or so.

The articles describe the major players in the Taiwan server market --
Quanta, Wistron, Micro-Star, Asustek, Inventec, etc. and also provides
some information on who supplies servers to whom.  For instance,
Inventec and Asustek both provide servers to HP, and a third provider,
Tatung, is also lined up as a server provider to HP.

If those types of details are of interest to you, I can summarize the
recent news pertaining to Quanta (including its construction of a
plant in Tennessee, primarily to provide servers to a major US
customer).

But as I said, I have not been able to find info on the actual
product-lines that the Quanta servers are marketed under.

are made bu Quanta and sold by them or other vendors. I have most of
the back ground info about the diifferent ODMs.

The VP of Quanta Server line said Quanta will ship
500,000 at 2004.

Quanat get the "Blade Server" order from Seimens-Fujitsu.

These may by clue to find out what types of server
are made by Quanta.
