I can find no reference to a Carisbrooke Private Hospital in Sydney.
What reason do you have for believing it is in Sydney?
Also, I'm can find no evidence that there is a Madery Street in Sydney.
Are you sure about "Madery Street"? Did you get that from a handwritten document?

Here's another reference to it being in Goondiwindi:
"Born Amy Evelyn Donaldson on March 7, 1921, at Carisbrook Private
Hospital in Goondiwindi..."
http://www.angelfire.com/ab5/crighton/tcp.html
Thus, there are two references to it being in Goondiwindi and no
references to being it anywhere else.

THANKYOU FOR YOUR ANSWER
MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER, KESIA COLLESS DIED ON THE 26.11.1909. IT STATES
ON HER DEATH CERTIFICATE THAT SHE DIED AT CARISBROOKE PRIVATE
HOSPITAL, MADERY STREET. BUT IT DOESNT SAY WHERE. SHE LIVED AND IS
BURIED AT COME BY CHANCE. WE ALWAYS THOUGHT SHE DIED AT COME BY
CHANCE. THEREFORE I THOUGHT IT UNUSUAL FOR HER TO BE IN GOONDIWINDI,
WHEN THE FAMILY WERE SCATTERED FROM CBC TO SYDNEY WHERE SHE WAS BORN.

Well, the fact that your great-grandmother is buried in Come By Chance
is pretty solid evidence that the Carisbrooke Private Hospital where
she died was probably the one in Goondiwindi.
As you probably know, Come By Chance is much closer to Goondiwindi
than it is to Sydney.
The distance between Come By Chance and Goondiwindi is 167 miles.
The distance between Come By Chance and Sydney is 287 miles.
Wouldn't it make sense that your grandmother died at a hospital that
was CLOSER to where she lived and was buried?
I suspect that the name of "Madery Street" has either changed, or
perhaps some illegible handwriting caused another street name to be
mistaken as "Madery" at some point. There's a Maclean Street in
Goondiwindi. Sometimes, the letters "cl" are mistaken for "d."
