Grimes. Died in the UK 30 Oct 1953. Educated initially in Toowoomba
then at Wadham College Oxford. Designer of Rapid Transit Galloping
Ambulance. May have married twice, the second time to actress Alma
Taylor?

If he served in the British Army, you may find something in the
National Archives at Kew. Or the Naval & Military Museum, London.

However, I suspect that they don't have all their records on-line.
