Hello dasrumbler, Hlabadie's comment appears to be correct. I have found two references to the derivation of the name Cinjun from St. John. "How Alyssa Milano Became TV's Sexiest Witch", by Stephen Saban (Ocean Drive, November 1999) [referring about 2/5 down the page to Cinjun Tate] Alyssa Milano - The Official Website www.safesearching.com/alyssamilano/ features/ocean-drive_1199_01.shtml "What is Cinjun?" Cinjun http://www.cinjun.biz/about.html A search on Google indicates that "Sinjun" is a more common variation on St. John. 'Searched the web for sinjun "st john"' Google ://www.google.com/search?q=sinjun+%22st+john%22&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&filter=0 - justaskscott Search terms used, in various combinations, on Google: cinjun "st john" sinjun gaelic |

It looks as though its an attempt to represent phonetically the given name St. John. hlabadie-ga |
