Hi There!

I need to find a resort or villa where I can entertain
8 clients + wives (total 16 people) for 3-7 nights.
Some may bring their kiddos, which could increase
this total to 22.  

Rather than separate rooms at a hotel, I would prefer
a single mansion or compound where everyone can interact
(eat, socialize, talk business, schmooze, etc.)

This place would ideally be located in the western USA 
(California, Nevada, Hawaii, Utah).

Plan B:  anywhere in the USA, Mexico, or Canada.

The link below shows hotel suites priced from $5000 - $25000
per night;  these sleep 8-12 people.  

My price range is $1500-$2000 per night, and I need to
sleep 16+.  In other words, I need more room for less dough.
I know I must sacrifice "luxury" in exchange for 
more square footage.

I have answered this question because I worked in the travel industry
and one of my clients had similar requirements to yours. I remember
that it took me quite a while to locate the information. Fortunately,
after sometime I was able to locate a wonderful website that is
probability the only thing that we need. That means no plan B....

This website lists villa rentals all around the world. It lists US
listings first by state and than by various locations. The best thing
about the website is that the listings are in tabular format
containing
such information as number of bedrooms, bathrooms, people it can
sleep, and rental rates. It also provides icons besides each listing
that donate maid service, pool, photographs, availability chart and
more to give an indication of what you might expect.

Well! This is not the best thing. Why I like this website so much is
because the rates are comparatively very cheap to resorts and hotels.
Even at a cheaper rate, some of the villas are truly magnificent and
are better than most five star hotel villas and suites.

Before you check out the website yourself, I have selected some of the
villas as examples to give you an overview of what you might expect. I
only selected those properties that can accommodate a minimum of 14
adults and have at least six or more rooms. Definitely, you would like
your guests to have their own private bedroom.
