Hello and thank you for your question.

"Green Lipped Mussels (L. Perna Canaliculus) is a natural health
product grown in New Zealand on government approved coastal marine
farms. They are grown in pure, clean waters which are frequently
monitored to ensure the highest quality product.
....
In early 1970´s a New Zealand company, MacFarlane developed a patented
method of extraction without destroying the active ingredients found
within the green lipped mussel. This extract is now sold in various
forms as green lipped mussel extract."

Since MacFarlane is credited as the developer of this product, I
suggest you buy their version of the product, even though it means
ordering from a New Zealand-located seller:

MACFARLANE JOINTCARE 60 CAPS
$ 23.95 [equivalent to U.S.$16.32]
Dosage
For the first 3 months start on 2 capsules twice daily with meals,
later this can be reduced to a maintenance dose of 2 capsules daily.
Purpose/Usage
As we get older our joints often become less supple simply because of
natural wear and tear. Anyone wishing to maintain not only mobility of
the joints but also keep the surrounding connective tissue healthy can
use Mcfarlane Joint Care. Jointcare combines biolane active glme (
green lipped mussel extract) with glucosamine sulphate and boswellic
acid. Glucosamine is an amino sugar that is involved in the rebuilding
of healthy ligaments, tendons and cartilage, whilst boswellic acid
from the herb boswellia serrata has been proven to help relieve joint
pain and stiffness.

As Researcher jackburton-ga notes in his comment, below, you can order
Lyprinol from a U.S. seller, at

You're probably referring to Lyprinol®...

Green-Lipped Mussels in New Zealand (Perna canaliculus), which has
proven to be stable and beneficial to the overall health of the body.
Research on Lyprinol® first started in 1973, and is used today to
provide a wide range of relief."
