Hi There !

I have a business friend with a failing oil & gas business in North Texas.
This is obviously bad news, given oil & gas are at multi-year high prices.

My friend's business model was to borrow money, buy producing shallow
oil wells (less than 4000 feet), and then use new technologies to boost
production.  After awhile, he could then borrow more money and repeat
the cycle.  But the business is wobbling, and my friend is sinking.

He went to the big investment banks to hopefully go public (get more
financing) or sell out to a bigger oil & gas firm.  Neither worked
because:
(1) his business is too small for them.  I'm guessing in the $20 million range.
(2) he's not exactly booming.  Basically, he has hard assets (some O&G
production) but no real, ongoing business,

I need the names and telephone numbers of 5 firms that do low-level
energy deals ($5 million-$25 million).  No other information or web
sites needed.

These would probably be boutique investment banks that arrange mergers
between small O&G companies.

I am probably not looking for brokers to do simple asset (land &
mineral rights) sales.  My friend would like to sell his whole
company---not just the assets.  Besides, if he wanted to do a simple
asset sale, he could probably do that himself.
