I intend to make a professional movie for Cinema. It will be a
thriller similar to "The sixth sense".
Question:  Which basic technical equipment (with respective
specifications and average prices) do I need to make it?  Thanks.

What equipment you use often depends on your budget.  Typically, for a
theatrical release, it will be shot on 35mm film.  A rough minimal
budget would be about $1-2 million (depending on deals).  If you are
going with a "new" cast and crew, you might want to shoot with video
(HDTV 24P, DigiBeta, DV...) and then do a final tranfer to 35mm when
you have a distributor (or are showing on the film fest circuit).
