I am looking for a copy of the CBC documentary, "The Fundamentalist
Day" broadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (www.cbc.ca)
on November 14, 2000. The video is a documentary on the religious
beliefs of Canadian Alliance candidate Stockwell Day.
I am looking SPECIFICALLY for an internet link / phone number /
contact that will allow me to order, or somehow obtain a copy of this
video.
Good luck! |

shimmy-ga:
The documentary piece you are looking for, "The Fundamental Day",
aired as part of The National Magazine on November 14, 2000. The only
party who may be able to sell you a copy of this is referenced on the
CBC's website:
--------
http://www.cbc.ca/national/trans/
TRANSCRIPTS OF 'THE NATIONAL' ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE FROM BOWDEN'S
TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE, and also VHS copies can be purchased by sending
an e-mail to Bowdens at transtapes@bowdens.com or by calling
1-800-363-1281.
--------
I hope that you are successful in obtaining the documentary from them;
however, I am not able to confirm that they actually have this
particular piece in their archives.

Hi aht,
Thank you for the link to Bowden's. Unfortunately, they archive only
for 12 months. I'm not sure of any other way to get a copy of this...
unless coincidently someone happens to know someone who works at the
CBC, or knows of a video library that stocks archives of Canadian
material.

I've also gone through the collection at my city's library (in
Canada), with no success. Sorry, hopefully another Researcher has
better luck at their local library or university library!
