I want to purchase the film "Shock 'Em Dead"
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102910/), starring Traci Lords, Troy
Donahue,Aldo Ray, and others on DVD. Region is not important. I know
the film was available on DVD in Germany at one point, and I have
heard it may be available in Australia as well. If someone can point
me to a retailer where I can purchase a DVD copy of this cult classic,
I would be very happy.

Also, any Region is fine, but I require an English audio track.

Oh also, I'm interested in a retailer, not an auction.

Dear Josh,

The film is probably available only on VHS. Would you like the details
of VHS (English) versions of this film?

I own it on VHS already. I know a DVD version was manufactured in
Germany at one point, I've seen a German DVD edition. There is also a
Hong Kong edition that crops up on eBay from time to time, generally
going for $50 or so... I'd like to find a source where I can buy it
directly instead of going through an over-priced eBay auction (that
I'm not guaranteed to win), as I
want to buy copies for several friends as well.

If she was underage at the time of filming, 1) You're probably out of
luck and 2) If you manage to purchase it, you'll be the proud owner
of what is considered child pornography.

Dear Third Eye,

Despite Lords' "acting", this is not a pornographic film, but rather
an horror one. It might be a tasteless film, but it is "R" rated and
is not considered child pornography.

Third Eye :

Yes, this is a horror film, about a nerd who sells his soul to the
devil to the be the world's greatest heavy metal guitarist. It is set
(and was filmed) during the "hair metal" era in LA... Think Poison,
Motley Crue, etc.

It is also unintentionally hilarious!

Joshsisk,

Interesting threads at Killoggs.

All I can do is verify the existence of the Red Edition German DVD. I
can't find anyone who sells it (or at least anyone who you haven't
tried already).

Best of luck though. Maybe you should find a contact in Germany to
ship your X-Juggler order to, who can then pass it on to you.

I only have a VHS copy too, but I'll watch this thread to see if you have any joy.

Take care,

Poe

My bad. Based on the name, I made a natural assumption. :)
