The cancer in question was in the chest and neck.  It has been treated
with chemo and radiation but there seems to be a small tumor remaining
in the chest.  The plan is to remove the small tumor and then to do a
"brain capping" radiation treatment which is intended to "protect"
against a quick return of the cancer.  I want to understand both the
process of treatment and the potential results of the treatment both
negative and positive.
