India and Sri Lanka have a vibrant coconut industry, manufacturing any number of products from coconut or COIR -- like rugs, household products, and for the purposes of this question, "rubberized coir pots" (RCP). RCP can serve as seed beds for growing vegetables etc. These coir pots are manufacturing in trays with very specific shapes and dimensions. The mould that makes the tray is what we are interested in. We need to know the actual India/Sri Lanka manufacturing cost (not the cost they pass onto the client) of developing a single-cavity mould to produce the trays to hold RCP about the size of a large thimble. Please include in your answer how you arrived at this cost and be as technical as you can. Thanks. |
