I need some expert advice for following softwares: 1. Task Schdulers (organization wide) : Ideally I'm looking something like MS Outlook but preferrably software should be server based & should eliminate email exchanges other than application to user (for reminder purposes). Also it should eliminate the limitations of outlook like: ---- Outlook can't assign one task to multiple people ---- Task should not be marked completed without assigner's consent etc. 2. Spam mail filter: -- for our IMAIL/MailEnable server -- for outlook express -- White/Black list services (thirdparty servcies) 3. Lead/Order/Contact management software for software company 4. Timesheet to manage various projects/people/costs. I'm looking toward some low cost solution here. 5. Accounting software (ideally only account receivables & payables) but to manage Parent & Subsidiary relationship (For eg. software should be able to manage A/R & A/P of Parent & also of a subsidiary of that parent where Parent raise an invoice to subsidary) I need atleast 3 suggestions in each of category. Please try to give me in following format: Suggested software, Cost, URL, your remarks I've kept price of $10 as I think this might be little easy for proficient users. But if you feel that I need to hike the price, please feel free to write. Regards, Amit Mehta http://www.planetace.com |

If you use email client Outlook 2000/2002/2003 or Outlook Express 5/5.5/6, then I can suggest you to use bayesian spam filters that are incorporate into Outlook or Outlook Express. I use Spam Bully from http://ww.spambully.com . Spam Bully support POP3, IMAP and Hotmail accounts, also works for exchange accounts, but is not server based application yet. you can try it, it's very efficient, it kill more than 99% after I learned from my personal messages. |
