I need to train a large group (several thousand) or professionals on
lean manufacturing. This training will be delivered via the web.

I need to find suppliers who offer this type of training material.
Specifically, I need an overview of the rationale and benefits of lean
manufacturing. I would especially like to find a computer simulation
that demonstrates lean manufacturing and allows the learner to
interact with and vary a process to see how lean manufacturing can
improve the process.

I also need brief (10-20 minute) overview training for each of the
eight lean tools.

A good answer will include links to companies that offer
computer-based training for sale. I am NOT interested in videos on
this topic. The material must be delivered via computer based
training. Material available on CD-ROM may be useful because it could
possibly be reformatted for the web.

Especially valuable (and worthy of a tip) would be links to
universities that offer this type of training material.

Are you familiar with the NIST programs on lean manufacturing.  NIST
is a US government program (Nat'l Institutes for Standards and
Technologies), and they have regional programs throughout the US with
in-house expertise, networks, and training modules on lean
manufacturing.

it would be of interest.
