I'm researching on how to build/construct a CD duplicator for
duplication of data, audio or video cds. I want to know how to build
a 1 to 3, 1 to 5, 1 to 7, and if possible 1 to 10 cd duplication
system. The system will be standalone and will not need an operating
system or connection to a computer operate. You can visit
http://www.runtechmedia.net to see pictures of what I'm talking about.
I also need to know the components required for this, where they can
be sourced, pricing of each component, assembling requirements and
step-by-step instructions and relevant information. If you have any
questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks.

I have recently embarked on the same project:

http://www.wytron.co.uk/wytron_cd298.htm

This is a sample site of what you need. Essentially you need: a
controller (as per the link), a powerpack, a tower unit (5.25" x (the
number of drives you want)), may want a hard disk (not necessary),
your burners and a reader.

This is all you need. I built a Sony driven 1:7 system, using
standard 240v UK power and it cost me £300 which is about $500. I
expect you will be able to purchase the necessary components much
cheaper.

YOU WILL NOT NEED TO DO NAY PROGRAMMING - IT IS VERY VERY SIMPLE.

Search used:
making "CD Duplicator"
building "CD Duplicator"
instructions to make "CD Duplicator"
I used www.google.co.uk - seemed to provde many more accurate results
than the .com search - I think we are slightly ahead of the game with
regard to providing instructions on building these fantsatic machines.

I must add, the use for my machine is to copy promotional cdroms that
are produced by my company.
