I need to apply different logos to Gortex like fabrics that are heat sensitive and therefore cannot be ironed on as the heat will pucker the fabric. This is a small scale enterprise (up to 100 individual logos at a time). Ideally, I would like to use a digital photo that can be placed into a device that prints the logo onto the transfer material that is put onto the product. It must be DURABLE. I have seen something similar to what I want to do on my wifes cycling pants. I do not want a sewn in logo due to the expense as the product will need to wholesale at less than $6.00. The product is small, measuring about 2.5 x 5 inches. | |

fpa-ga: Graphics are usually applied to nylon articles using the silkscreen printing process. For your purposes (relatively low runs), you are probably best off striking a deal with a local business that can provide silkscreening services. Here is a link to a quick overview of the silkscreening process: http://silk.2itb.com/ If you wish to clarify your question and can provide a location for your logo-application needs, I should be able to compile a short list of silk-screening service providers for you to contact.
