On Oasis' album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, there's a bit right
at the end of the track "Morning Glory" where there is a radio being
tuned, and then you hear a lady singing part of a song.

What's the song, and who's singing it?

In response to your question about the 'radio' sounds in the
background - I can find no real leads to follow up on this. All of the
references I have come across just describe it as a helicopter sound
at the start of the track, followed by a 'mumbled conversation on the
radio between a man and a woman' which could not be understood. The
end of the song had similar sounds according to links I was able to
find such as this one (

Maybe someone else will have better luck helping you with this one
than I did - thanks for the question. :)

Now, check out the beginning of the song "Morning Glory."  It starts with
a sample form(sic) the opening scene of the movie, "Apocalypse Now" where the
helicopter is approaching and there are voices on a CB radio or some kind
of radio.

I think the song is by Lisa Moorish - who once dated Liam Gallagher
and has a child by him (see

sang vocals on the song they contributed to the 'Help' album for the
charity Warchild, 'Fade Away.'
However, I can't find *anything* to back this up, it's just something
I remember hearing at the time the album came out.  Sorry I can't be
more specific.
