Question ID: 297604
Would like to have a list of the larger telecommunication companies
and the TCP/IP management solutions they use and how well they're
doing with them?

Would like information on those products and who to contact if
possible to get to know them a bit more.

I would guess three suggestions would be suitable.

Thank you.

To give you a hint, Lucent has an offer called QIP which I would like
to compare alternatives and competitors to.

Anyone out there?! :-)

Hi dustydune-ga!

I am a little bit lost on what you require. Are we suppose to just
list tcp/ip management solutions companies like Lucent and Incognito?

Thanks!

Hello Easterangel,

Actually, I'm supposed to compare QIP's IP Management Solution with
others. The usual Enterprise issues of cost, hassle, features and
return on investment.

This would take a bit of email discussions with their sales and draw
up a comparison which would be from the point of view of someone who
knows the hidden aspects of IP management and well the two or other
solutions are managing to cover them. When I say 'someone who knows',
I mean someone who can put in the effort of analysing the solutions
and comparing Apples to Apples and use one against the other's sales
people to come up with a well described comparision and a conclusion
limited by the assumptions assumed and the parameters of comparison
used. :-)

Up to the effort?
