What notebooks have a 128 mb graphics card and weigh less than 7 lbs?
I already know that the Dell Inspiron 8600 has the ATI Mobility Radeon
9600 and weighs 6.9 lbs. I am searching for other options. Bonus tip
for answers with more affordable options (around $1500-$1700)

Hello Citigirldc-ga,
I've exhaustively searched the Internet, and I believe these few are
the only lightweight notebooks with 128 MB video memory so far.

Overam Mirage 4100 laptops
http://www.overam.com/pages/en/custom/4100_prices.htm
- Have 128 MB Video and weigh 6.8 lbs

Custom laptops and custom notebooks built by OVERAM Mirage custom laptops

Fujitsu Lifebook
Products > Notebook Computers > LifeBook S2010 Series - FUJITSU
CANADA, INC. (ENGLISH)
http://www.fujitsu.ca/products/notebooks/lifebook_s_series/s2010/specifications.html
Specs page:
http://www.computers.us.fujitsu.com/www/products_notebooks.shtml?products/notebooks/tech_specs/s2000_s2020_ts
- It has user-selectable UMA video memory that can go up to 128 RAM,
and I assume it uses the main RAM for this.
- up to 4.3 lbs. according to tech specs.

FUJITSU Lifebook S2000 Notebook (AMD)
http://computers.buycheapstuff.us/B00008WTB4.html
- Here the Lifebook's given a starting $1250 price, and might rise
along with customization.

ECS G556 notebook:
http://www.ecsusa.com/products/g556.html
- Should weigh 5.5 lbs.

ECS G556 Centrino / ATI 9600 Pro laptop
http://notebookforums.com/archive/index.php/t-11111
- I spotted this announcement though saying that it might be priced above $2100.

I've seen the Dell Inspiron annoucement while searching and I gather
it's quite a new product. I've seen some other 128MB video laptops,
but they're on the heavy side, like Sager's (which uses the Radeon
9600 too but weighs more than 7 lbs). Lightweights with 128MB video
seem to be new and very few at the moment.

Google Search strings used:
computer notebook 7 lbs. 128 mb
computer notebook lbs. 128 mb
computer notebook 7 lbs. 128 mb video

Froogle.com search words used:
notebook 7 lbs. 128 mb video
notebook 6 lbs. 128 mb video

Also looked at the company pages directly.

I hope this has been a most helpful answer. If you need anything else,
or have a problem with the answer, do please post a Request for
Clarification before rating and I shall respond as soon as I can.
Thank you.

I probably should have specified that I was looking for 128 mb of
their own memory. About half of the ones you gave me had that, though
the others had shared. The overam was a good one, though. Its made my
final list.

Ah, yes - I found that one yesterday, actually. I also found this one:
http://www.ibuypower.com/confirm/configurator-battalion-S.htm

so now I'm torn between those two and the Inspiron 8600. Its hard
comparing the Pentium-M/Centrino speeds with the Pentium 4 speeds with
the Athlon speeds. I have no idea which is better...
