I'm looking for a wholesaler or dropshipper of authentic designer
handbags. (gucci, prada, fendi). Anywhere in the world.

I need two sources.

Well, your question certainly has been a challenge! The Web seems to
be littered with sites promoting the products of italian designers,
but almost none of them fit what (I believe you are looking for).

I eliminated companies from the running if:
* they were retailers selling at "wholesale prices"
* their only point of contact was an email address (e.g., no website,
phone, address, etc.)
* they seemed to be in business only for a short time
* they seemed in any way fraudulant or risky. 

The best two comapnies remaining I was able to find were:

* Bella Blue - if you go to their website and choose the "Wholesale
Sales" link at the bottom right, they list the model numbers of the
handbags they wholesale for each of your desired designers.

* Top Image - while they don't have an extensive listing on their
website of which handbag models they do carry, they certainly seem
established and able to get you whatever you want if they don't
currently have it in stock. The do have a minimum order of $5000 USD.
(Though they will do lower "sample" orders.)

Hi estropelic-ga:

I spent a couple of more hours looking for more decent Italy-based
wholesalers, but was unsuccessful, unfortunately.

After having exhausted looking for information in English, I switched
to Italian. Not that I speak Italian, but I used Google's "[Translate
this Page]" feature in conjunction with a good online English->Italian
dictionary at:

http://www.screensaverhome.com/onldict/ita.html

to determinte that wholesaler = grossista and handbag =
borsa/borsette.

I tried searching with various combinations (on several engines) like:

gucci prada fendi borsette
grossista gucci prada borsette
grossista borsa

but without any luck. 

My conclusion: without someone fluent in Italian, there's not much
more to be found on this subject. (Even with someone fluent in
Italian, you may be out of luck.)

Sorry I wasn't able to find more for you.
